What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, better known as CBD, is one of many (more than one hundred) natural compounds found in the flower of the hemp plant. It’s valued for its therapeutic benefits, like promoting better sleep and digestion, as well as easing pain and inflammation.   

 

Is hemp the same as marijuana?

No. Hemp and marijuana are both members of the cannabis family, but hemp naturally contains less than 0.3% THC (delta-9-tetrahydrocannibinol), the compound associated with marijuana’s cerebral, psychoactive effects. 

 

Will hemp products get me high?

No. The hemp flower used in our extracts contains little to no THC (less than 0.3%), as required by federal law.

 

Will I fail a drug test if I take full-spectrum hemp oil?

Although the THC present in our hemp extract is very low (below 0.3%, as required by federal law), our full-spectrum products would not be recommended for anyone who has to pass a drug screen for THC. Instead, check out products from Chill Switch, which contain non-detectable levels of THC.

 

Are hemp products legal to ship to my state?

Yes. With the passing of the 2018 Hemp Bill, CBD is federally legal and can be shipped to all 50 states.

What is hand-pressed hemp extract?

All Woven Earth products are made with our hand-pressed hemp extract, which is a full-spectrum hemp oil (<0.3% THC) containing CBD, as well as other cannabinoids like CBG, CBC, plus terpenes, flavonoids, chlorophyll, vitamins, and minerals naturally occurring in the hemp flower. This method is formally referred to as Lipid Infusion or Lipid Extraction.

 

What are the benefits of Lipid Infusion / Lipid Extraction?

The Lipid Infusion process is natural and gentle, resulting in a nutrient-packed, full-spectrum hemp oil. Unlike other processes that use chemical solvents or extreme pressure, lipid infusion keeps the hemp plant in its natural state, preserving the natural cellular bond of the plant and increasing the phytonutrient content. Finely milled hemp flower is mixed with MCT oil from coconuts, which allows for more rapid absorption and maximum bioavailability. Using low heat and pressure, all of the components of the plant are infused into coconut oil, resulting in a rich, deep green oil.

Why is your hemp oil green?

Woven Earth hemp extract is a full-spectrum oil, rich with cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, chlorophyll, vitamins and minerals from the hemp plant. These naturally occurring compounds of the hemp plant give the oil its green hue. Unlike more processed hemp extract products that use chemicals and solvents, Woven Earth hemp extract is made with a gentle process that preserves the plant’s integrity and its content of diverse phytocompounds.

 

Are your hemp products tested?

Yes. All of our products have been third-party tested to ensure quality and potency. Our premium hemp provider, Open Book Extracts, does full-panel testing on all inventory purchased and produced. We have Certificates of Analysis (COAs) for Cannabinoid Profiles for each product, as well as COAs for Pesticides, Residual Solvents, and Microbials. Are your products organic?

All of the ingredients used in our products are certified organic, including the hemp.

 

Do you use pesticides?

We only use OMRI-certified organic fertilizers and pest mitigants.

 

How much hemp oil should I take?

Dosage varies among individuals, but we recommend starting with 20mg at bedtime for a week or so, then modifying the dosage as desired. To use our Hemp Oil, dispense the liquid under the tongue and hold for 20-30 seconds, then swallow. You may also use the Hemp Oil topically by massaging directly onto the affected area on the body.

 

How does the monthly subscription work?

Our capsules come in 30ct and 60ct because they are designed to last you a month, regardless of whether you take them once or twice a day. If you select the monthly purchase plan at checkout, we will automatically send you a new jar every month so that you don’t have to worry about remembering to reorder when you start to get low. Additionally, you will receive a 10% discount on each order.

 

How much CBD is in each of the Woven Earth products?

Our Hemp Oil contains 400mg of CBD in 30ml of oil. One full dropper (1ml) = 13.3mg of CBD

Our Hemp Oil Capsules contain 600mg of CBD in 30 capsules. One capsule = 20mg of CBD

Our Hemp Relief Balms contains 250mg of CBD in the entire tube.
